Energy Consulting · Funding · Energy Audits

Buildings, thought through — energy and building systems in one.

As a dena-listed Energy Efficiency Expert and Dipl.-Ing. (FH) in Electrical Power and Automation Engineering, I take a holistic view of your building: heat load, funding, energy audits per DIN EN 16247 and building systems — all from one source, by the book, not by gut feeling.

The basis for every calculation and every audit

Services

I support your project from calculation through to funding approval.

Every service can be commissioned individually or combined as a complete package — tailored to residential and non-residential buildings.

iSFP · On-site

Energy Consulting

Independent assessment of your building's savings potential, on-site inspection, condition survey and individual renovation roadmap (iSFP).

BEG · BAFA · KfW

Funding Advisory

Optimising your funding options under the current BEG scheme, application filing with BAFA and KfW, and checking quotes for funding eligibility.

BEG-EM

Technical Planning & Site Supervision

Technical site supervision for individual measures under BEG-EM — from planning through spot-check quality control of the works to the completion confirmation (BzA) required for your KfW or BAFA funding.

DIN EN 12831

Heat Load Calculation

Room-by-room heat load calculation as the basis for heat pump sizing, hydraulic balancing and funding applications.

PV · Self-Consumption

PV System Design

Sizing of photovoltaic systems tailored to your consumption, your heat pump and a possible battery storage — for an economically sound self-consumption ratio instead of guesswork sizing.

VDI · Smart Home

Heat Pump & Smart Home Integration

As a VDI-certified heat pump specialist and smart home expert, I plan building systems together with intelligent control, PV yield and battery storage from the outset, not as an afterthought.

DIN 1946-6

Ventilation Concept

Ventilation concept per DIN 1946-6 for new builds and renovations — proof of ventilation measures is mandatory once the building envelope reaches higher airtightness, and is often a prerequisite for BEG funding.

DIN EN 16247 · Module 1/4

Energy Audit

Energy audits under EDL-G and Module 1 (DIN EN 16247) to identify and implement energy-efficiency measures in your company.

DIALux evo · Expert

Lighting Design

Lighting concepts for commercial and non-residential buildings per DIN EN 12464-1 — often the biggest savings lever in the tertiary sector, frequently identified directly during an energy audit. More on lighting design →

About

Jérémy Meilladec-Rauch

Dipl.-Ing. (FH) in Electrical Power and Automation Engineering and dena-listed energy consultant based in Frankfurt am Main. Through JM-Energieberatung I provide independent consulting on funding, renovation and energy audits.

This dual perspective — building envelope and building systems — is rare and makes the difference: thinking through electrical engineering, automation and energy consulting together means never planning a project twice.

This is complemented by certified expertise in heat pumps (VDI) and hands-on experience as a smart home specialist — from PV systems and battery storage to intelligent control in my own home.

Diploma thesis, 2010

"Comparison and evaluation of concepts for energy-efficient artificial lighting in the tertiary sector" — lighting as a savings lever has stayed with me since my studies and feeds directly into energy audits under DIN EN 16247 today.

01

Energy Consulting & Electrical Engineering, All in One

Heat load, funding and building systems are planned together, not one after another by different providers.

02

One Point of Contact, Clear Path

From the first site visit through to the funding approval, I accompany your project personally — no back-and-forth between several offices.

03

Up to Date with Current Legislation

The GModG, BEG reforms and EDL-G change continuously. I actively track these changes so your funding doesn't fail on outdated rules.

Process

How working together looks.

Four steps from the first message to the funding application — transparent and without detours.

01

Inquiry

You write to me briefly about what you need — via the form or by email.

02

Initial Call

Free of charge and non-binding, about 15 minutes by phone. We clarify your needs and the next steps.

03

Site Visit

An on-site survey of the building, where required for your particular needs.

04

Report & Funding Application

You receive a concrete renovation roadmap or report including funding options.

Frequently Asked Questions

Before you write, maybe already answered.

The most important questions about process, cost and funding — answered briefly and honestly.

What does an energy consultation with you cost?

The initial call is free and non-binding. For the actual consulting work, such as an individual renovation roadmap, BEG funding often covers up to 50 % of the consulting costs. I check which funding applies for you before any costs arise.

How does an inquiry with you work?
  1. You write to me briefly about what you need.
  2. We clarify your needs and the next steps in a free initial call (approx. 15 min., by phone).
  3. If required, an on-site visit follows for a condition survey.
  4. You receive a concrete report or renovation roadmap including funding options.
I'm not sure exactly what I need — can I still get in touch?

Yes, especially then. Most inquiries start without a clear plan. In the initial call we work out together whether energy consulting, an energy audit, a heat load calculation, or funding advisory fits best.

Are you accredited for BAFA/KfW funding?

Yes, I am listed on dena's Energy Efficiency Expert register (EEE) for both residential and non-residential buildings — a prerequisite for most BEG funding programmes.

How long does it take from inquiry to funding application?

Depending on project scope, you can typically expect around 4 weeks from the initial consultation to filing the application.

Do you also work outside of Frankfurt?

Yes, I take on projects within roughly 60 km of Frankfurt am Main — covering large parts of the Rhine-Main region.
